Day 2:

Here are the most common questions to know before attending our retreat:

  • What if I have a severe fear of water?
    We understand that fear of water is real and can be overwhelming. Our course is specifically designed for adults who have a high fear of water. We use proven relaxation techniques like meditation, box breathing, and diaphragmatic breathing to help you manage and overcome your fear. You will progress at your own pace, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident every step of the way.
  • Where will I Stay?
    This retreat is hosted at a beautiful San Juan [Santuce] swimming facility. We recommend staying anywhere in Condado at either a local hotel or Airbnb. For suggestions and recommendations, please email us at Jeff@caribeswim.com.
  • What if I can't put my face in the water?
    It's completely normal to feel anxious about putting your face in the water. Our course includes specific techniques to help you gradually build confidence and comfort. We start with dryland exercises and progress to shallow water activities, always prioritizing your readiness. You will never be rushed, and you can repeat any exercise as many times as needed until you feel confident.
  • Can I Bring a Friend or Spouse
    Yes! Although the learning process is unique to each swimmer, we highly encourage you to learn with someone you know.
  • Cancellation and Guarantee
    No refunds after April 1, 2025, for any reason.

    Any refund request before April 1, 2025, will have a $750 non-refundable fee.

    Course fees will be refunded if Caribe Swim has to cancel the class due to reasons out of their control (global pandemic). Caribe Swim is not responsible for any additional refunds or liabilities that may be incurred.

    We live in a tropical environment, we are not responsible for cancellations due to weather. If this significantly impacts our ability to swim, a credit to future retreats will be considered.

    Our Swim Guarantee is that you WILL swim 25 yards by the conclusion of the 6 Days. The Guarantee is null and void IF you do not attend ALL Sessions, do not actively participate in all sessions, leave early or arrive late to any session or do not complete the pre-requisite at home sessions prior to arrival.
